What Bonaco is
Bonaco is a directory. We list independent service providers and help customers request quotes. We are not the provider's employer, agent or partner, and we do not perform the work.
For customers
- Requesting quotes is free.
- Any agreement for work is between you and the provider. Agree the scope, price and timing with them before work starts.
- Check a provider's credentials yourself where the law requires them, for example a Certificate of Compliance for electrical work.
- A "Verified" badge means we completed our verification checks for that provider, such as confirming their identity and contact details. It is not a guarantee of the quality of any job.
For providers
- You must give accurate information and hold any registrations, licences or insurance your trade requires.
- Basic listings are free. A Featured listing costs R150 per month and is paid in advance. Leads cost R40 each. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
- If a lead has no working phone number or is clearly fake, tell us within 48 hours and we will replace it.
- Fees are otherwise non-refundable. You may cancel a Featured listing at any time, and it ends when the paid month ends.
- Use customer details only to respond to their request. Do not share them or add them to marketing lists.
- We may remove a listing for complaints, false information or misconduct.
Reviews
Reviews must be from real customers and about real work. We may remove reviews that are abusive, false or unrelated to a job.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Bonaco is not liable for loss or damage arising from work done by a provider or from a provider's failure to respond. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
